When Angus Cumming and Sarah Farrow Jones decided to sell their simple pieces of hand made wooden furniture and mirrors on a market stall in the Devon town of Totnes, they had no idea how successful they would become.

Within a few months they had swopped their chilly stall for a grade II listed shop on Totnes High Street where they can still be found today, 14 years later.

Angus, with his small team of experienced craftsmen, runs the workshop and Sarah is in charge of the shop and the busy website. Years of doing up their own houses and working with customers has given them both extensive experience and down to earth design expertise which they happily pass on to everyone whether they are buying a bedside cabinet, an oak mirror or planning a fully fitted kitchen.

Sarah’s shop is a treasure trove situated on two floors. Upstairs is packed with small pieces of Tumble Home furniture, peg rails, pin boards, shelving, mirrors and their favourite suppliers, Susie Watson Ceramics, Terrace and Garden and Garden Trading whilst downstairs is the showroom, a space to highlight the kitchens, larger pieces of furniture and the massive mirrors for which they have become well known.

Tumble Home is much more than a bespoke kitchen design and fitting service, Sarah and Angus are creative, flexible, knowledgeable and have the highest standards in everything they make and do. They never lose sight of the final result, furniture and accessories which they want their customers to enjoy for years to come.
